The individual stated, ““I can roll out of my bed at 11 am, log in at 12, chill a bit till 5, and log off. The post left many envious. Others spoke of their dream to have such a manager. Many sulked about their bad managers who made them work extra hours. “Yes, my manager asks me to log off at 6:55, when the log off time is at 6 pm and asks me to login again at 8 pm,” said one. One even recollected a rare occasion when a client apologised to them for scheduling a late call.
Another wrote, “Not my boss but a client from the USA once apologised to me for scheduling a call at 1am (even when my shift was 4pm-1am). The host along with the joinees apologised and asked to summarise the call for me so that I can leave in next 5 minutes.”
But some talked about their exemplary bosses.
One Redditor recollected, “Actually, my boss scolded me in team meeting to not work late nights. And if i am sick then he calls me to ask how am i doing and scold again if i do not eat or take my meds. We both work in India but company is uk based.”
