New Delhi: The grand finale of Miss Universe took place in a grand celebration in Thailand, bringing together contestants from across the globe for this year’s most spectacular pageants. Among all the panellists, Indian Badminton star Saina Nehwal was also sitting for the judges’ seat.
The 74th edition of the Miss Universe pageant took place at the Impact Challenger Hall in Pak Kret, Nonthaburi, near Bangkok. Saina left everyone in awe with her mesmerising dressing sense, wearing an elegant, red gown with a floral pattern all over it. The ensemble shouted, equal parts graceful and sophisticated for the evening.

The veteran badminton player opted for a striking, floor-length gown by designer Sahil Kochhar with a silhouette that shapes at the waist and flows in an airy A-line floor-length drape. The dress is a fitted bodice with a square neckline and cap sleeves, making it look like a delicate Disney princess.
The gown had all-over floral patterns of red and navy blue, speaking of ball drama and sophistication. The bottom of the gown falls dramatically onto the floor with similar rich and bold red floral motifs.

For the accessories, Saina chose a white pearl and gold statement necklace that adds grace to the look without overpowering with shine and colours.
For the hair, Saina’s shoulder-length hair was curled gently to give a polished look. With warm-tone makeup and subtle eyes, the entire look came together to speak glamour with elegance, making the sportsperson look like a diva for the show.
