Meanwhile, in sports climbing, Deepu Mallesh set a new national record four times during the men’s speed qualification, finishing 11th among 16 competitors with a time of 5.09 seconds, thus securing a spot in the quarterfinals. Shooting
In a remarkable achievement, Neeru Dhanda and Kynan Chenai won gold in the mixed trap team shooting event, setting a new Games record with a score of 34, surpassing the previous record of 30 held by Qatar. The silver medal was claimed by Qatar with a score of 32, while China secured bronze with 23 points. This marks India’s first gold in the Trap Mixed Team event.
