Shubhanshu Shukla Met PM Modi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi met astronaut Shubhanshu Shukla on Monday evening. Shubhanshu Shukla has returned to India from International Space Station (ISS) on Sunday. This was a historical opportunity as he is one of the first Indians who became part of Axiom-4 Mission. In this meeting held at the Prime Minister’s residence in Delhi, Shubhanshu Shukla presented the official patch of Axiom-4 Mission to PM Modi and also showed great pictures of Earth taken from ISS.

Shubhanshu Shukla’s space trip
Shubhanshu Shukla was part of Axiom-4 Private Space Mission which was launched from Florida on 25 June and connected to ISS on 26 June. The mission ended on 15 July when all astronauts returned to Earth safe. During this 18-day historic visit, Shukla, American Astronaut Paigy Whitson, Poland’s Slavosz Ujnanski-Wishaniveski (Slawosz uznanski-wisniewski) and Hungary’s Tibor Capu (Tibor Kapu) of Hungary (Tibor Kapu) (Outreach Sessions) completed.
Proud moment for India
PM Modi appreciated the achievement of Shubhanshu Shukla and said that it is a matter of pride for India. He hoped that India’s youth would establish new dimensions in Space Science and Technology. This meeting of Shubhanshu Shukla was not only an honor for the achievement of his space mission but also proved to be a new direction to India’s space ambitions.
