India wants to reduce tariffs, but it’s late now … Donald Trump’s new claim

US President Donald Trump

US President Donald Trump has once again targeted India over the tariff. He said that there has been a unilateral relationship with India. India has charged high tariffs from us, that too more than any country. Trump said that very few people understand that we do very little business with India, while they do a lot of business with us.

He said that they (India) sell us in large quantities, but we sell them very little. India buys most of its oil and military products from Russia, much less than the US. He has now offered to reduce his tariff completely, but now it is too late. They should have done this years ago. Trump said that India should have reduced tariffs long ago.

Relationships sour after 50 percent tariff

After the 50 percent tariff imposed by Trump on India, the relationship between the two countries has come to a standstill. Russia is behind this sourness. Actually, America does not want India to buy oil from Russia. Recently he objected to this. The US had said that India is buying cheaper oil from Russia and is earning big profits from it. India reacted strongly to this.

India said that our purchase from Russia is based on the status of the global market. By purchasing Russian oil, we have helped to keep global oil prices stable. America and European countries themselves appreciated our move. India said that it will continue to buy Russian oil.

Trump got scared of India-Russia-China alliance?

Trump’s statement came at a time when Tianjin, China showed an alliance of India-Russia and China. In such a situation, the question arises whether Trump was terrified by the alliance of India-Russia and China? Did Trump get into tension due to the firm SCO and BRICS because Tianjin showed tremendous diplomacy between PM Modi, Russian President Putin and Xi Jinping.
