India Vs Pakistan: IND Coach Drops MASSIVE Hint On Playing XI For Asia Cup 2025 Mega Clash

India are all set to take on Pakistan in the biggest clash of the Asia Cup 2025 Group stage on September 14 (Sunday) at the Dubai International Stadium.

This will be the first time that the two teams are clashing in a T20I match since the T20 World Cup 2024. The Men in Blue would need a victory in this match, as that would ensure that they qualify for the Super Four stage of the tournament. While there have been speculations as to what the playing XI might be, Team India assistant coach Ryan ten Doeschate has more or less given away as to which players might face Pakistan.

In the press conference before the India vs Pakistan mega match, Ryan ten Doeschate said that they would most likely will not make any changes to the playing XI from the team that decimated UAE by 9 wickets in their opening match of the tournament.

“We are unlikely to make any changes,” ten Doeschate told the media.

This means that Arshdeep Singh will continue to miss the second consecutive match of the Asia Cup 2025. The highest wicket-taker for India in T20Is, Arshdeep was dropped in favour of an extra all-rounder in Shivam Dube. India will thus also field three spinners- Axar Patel, Kuldeep Yadav and Varun Chakaravarthy- against Pakistan.

Sanju Samson will continue to play in the middle order, with Abhishek Sharma and Shubman Gill opening the batting for India.
