Suryakumar Yadav: Suryakumar Yadav, while talking to the media before the start of T20 World Cup 2026, said that his team will go to Colombo to play the match against Pakistan. He said something very interesting on the speculations going on about this match. Suryakumar Yadav said that Pakistan has decided not to play the match. Surya said that Pakistan’s decisions are not in our hands. We have been asked to play the match and we will play. Suryakumar Yadav said, ‘Pakistan’s decisions are not in my control, I wish I had it. We have been asked to play, there is a match.
‘Will definitely go to play with Pakistan’
Suryakumar Yadav further said that India has shown a good game against Pakistan and similar efforts will be made in future also. Suryakumar Yadav said, ‘We played against Pakistan three times in the Asia Cup and we played well in all the three matches. If we get a chance to play the match again, we will play and try to do well. If the match is ready then we will definitely go to play against Pakistan.

Pakistan PM refuses to play against India
Pakistan Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif has justified the boycott of the T20 World Cup match against India. He said that Pakistan stands with Bangladesh. Shahbaz Sharif said, ‘We have taken a very clear stand regarding the T20 World Cup that we will not play the match against India because there should not be politics on the playing field. We should stand completely with Bangladesh, and I think this is a very right decision. We are with Bangladesh.
