India Have a Strong Record Against Pakistan in Recent Years

India have a strong record against Pakistan in recent years. India defeated Pakistan by a massive 228-run margin in the 2023 Asia Cup ODI clash. Following that, India have won all encounters against Pakistan, including the 2023 Cricket World Cup, 2024 T20 World Cup, and the 2025 Champions Trophy.

Pakistan’s current form has also been a concern. The team has struggled in international cricket, failing to match India’s consistency and performance levels.

Meanwhile, India have improved their fitness, training methods, world-class facilities, and regular competition against strong teams. In contrast, Pakistan have lagged, creating a significant gap between the two sides.

India will be without their stalwarts Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli, who retired after the 2024 T20 World Cup. Pakistan have excluded their key players Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan from the squad for the Asia Cup 2025.
