India vs England, T20 WC Semi Final Live Score: India are facing off with England in the second semifinal of the T20 World Cup 2026 at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai on Thursday, March 5. New Zealand beat South Africa in the first semifinal, and the winner of this clash will face them in the final in Ahmedabad on March 8.
Both teams had contrasting paths to the semifinal of the tournament. India and England had met in the T20 World Cup 2022 semifinal, where the Three Lions defeated Rohit and Co. by 10 wickets in Australia. But India made a strong comeback to clinch the 2024 title.
England played across both countries in India and Sri Lanka, and have emphatically made it to the knockouts even when their chances were pretty low after a patchy start in the group-stage. The Three Lions then dominated the Super 8 stage, beating Sri Lanka, New Zealand and Pakistan.
India convincingly qualified for the Super 8 of the tournament, but lost their opening match against South Africa in Ahmedabad. The Men in Blue beat Zimbabwe and the West Indies to qualify for the semifinal.
