India vs England LIVE Score, 5th Test Day 2: India Waste DRS, Get Punished 4 Balls Later As Ben Duckett Does…

India vs England LIVE Updates, 5th Test Day 2: India pacers Mohammed Siraj, Akash Deep and Prasidh Krishna have been taken to the cleaners by England openers Ben Duckett and Zak Crawley in the first session on Day 2 of the fifth Test at The Oval.

England have reached 84/0 after 11 overs, with both Duckett and Crawley nearing fifties. Earlier in the day, India lasted only 28 minutes and 34 balls with the bat, getting bundled out for 224 in their first innings. Despite sunny conditions, well-set Indian batters Karun Nair and Washington Sundar threw their wickets away. England pacer Gus Atkinson breathed fire, taking a five-wicket haul. Nair had completed a half-century yesterday, but failed to add much more on Day 2. England suffered a bitter blow as pacer Chris Woakes was ruled out of the Test due to a shoulder injury. India must win this Test in order to level the series.
