India vs England: Jasprit Bumrah trains extensively at nets ahead of Lord’s Test – Watch

New Delhi: India’s pace spearhead Jasprit Bumrah looked in high spirits when started his practice on Tuesday ahead of the third Test match against England at Lord’s. With series currently level at 1-1, both the sides will lock horns in the third game of the five-match series at the iconic London venue from July 10 to 14.

The ace pacer won hearts with his performance in the first Test match at Leeds where he claimed a fifer while was rested for the following Test at Edgbaston, Birmingham to manage the workload pressure. Skipper Shubman Gill, ahead of the start of the second Test said that the superlative pacer would participate in the third Test match at Lord’s.

Since Bumrah has to play in just three matches out of the total five, Lord’s come up as an important venue where his pace and bowling style can be utilised. Meanwhile, just a couple of days before the start, Bumrah was practicing with full force with an aim to make an impact in the most crucial game where both India and England would be aiming to take a lead and go ahead.

The video sees the ace pacer in full action bowling a compete throttle at the batters in the nets. With a marvellous performance from the other pacers in the team like Mohammed Siraj and Akash Deep, Bumrah would be wanting to produce an impactful performance in the forthcoming match.

India produced a stupendous performance in the second Test, one of their best in the history, to hammer the hosts by a massive margin. After suffering a defeat in the series opener at Leeds, the visiting side bounced back terrifically to beat the English team and equal the series. An all-round performance from India powered them to a big win.
