The Indian team is all set to face the Australian Prime Minister’s XI in the dress rehearsal for the pink-ball Test. The two-day practice match will take place from November 30 to December 1st at the Manuka Oval in Canberra.
This match will be the perfect opportunity for the Indian team to get used to the pink ball and the conditions. This will also give Indian captain Rohit Sharma enough game time to get into the groove before he plays his very first match on the tour.
India will face Australia in the 2nd Test at the Adelaide Oval in the pink-ball Test on December 6. The Indian team already lead the five-match Test series against Australia 1-0. They will aim to bury the ghosts of the past when India were bundled out for their lowest Test score of 36 in Adelaide last time during pink-ball Test. Barring the loss vs Australia, India have won their next three pink-ball Tests.
