This increased the total tariff to 50%. This has led to tension in relations between India and America. India has clearly stated that we are not going to bow down to pressure.
US President Donald called India’s economy ‘dead’. His business advisor like Peter Navaro also talked a lot against India. This further increased stress. Last week, Trump tried to reduce tension with India. Said that talks are going on on the trade agreement. Hopefully it will be successful.
