The India-Pakistan cricketing rivalry will once again be in focus on November 8th as the Asian Cricket Council (ACC) announced the schedule for the 2026 U19 Asia Cup, which is now an annual event and is played in the 50-over format.
Last year, the arch-rivals played the final of the continental event in Dubai, which the Men in Green won by 191 runs, but the Indian side managed to get perfect revenge by beating the Asian champions in the 2026 U19 World Cup and knocking them out of the tournament a few days later on their way to the final.
The new-look Indian team in Youth ODIs for the 2026-28 cycle leading up to the 2028 U19 World Cup is being led by Lakshya Raichandani. In the previous series against Australia U-19, the team had Aaryavir Sehwag and Anay Dravid. For those unversed, Aaryavir is the elder son of Virender Sehwag, while Anay is Rahul Dravid’s younger son.
