December 4: Personal meeting as soon as we reach New Delhi.
Putin will reach Delhi on the evening of 4 December. After this, Prime Minister Modi will host a private dinner in his honor at 7 pm in the evening at 7 Lok Kalyan Marg. It is believed that in this private meeting both the leaders will discuss the most sensitive issues.
5 December: Grand welcome and important ceremonies
- Putin will be given a ceremonial welcome at Rashtrapati Bhavan at 9 am. After this he will go to Rajghat and pay tribute to Mahatma Gandhi.
23rd India-Russia Summit at Hyderabad House
- 11 am: Both the leaders will hold formal talks at Hyderabad House. It is expected that during this period there will be many announcements regarding defence, trade, space, digital technology and strategic partnerships. After the talks, both the countries will also issue a joint statement.
- 4 pm: Business Forum Meeting: Putin and Modi will address the India-Russia Business Forum. Here both the countries will discuss taking mutual trade to the next level.
- 7 pm: State Banquet: President Draupadi Murmu will host a state banquet in Putin’s honour. After this Putin will leave India late at night.
