The Indian ODI squad will assemble in Thiruvananthapuram on September 23, four days before the opening match of the three-match home series against West Indies at the Greenfield International Stadium.
The series opener is scheduled for September 27, with the second ODI to be played in Guwahati on September 30 and the third in New Chandigarh on October 3. The ODI series will subsequently be followed by a five-match T20I series beginning in Lucknow on October 6.
Gill to Lead, Rohit and Kohli Return
Shubman Gill will captain the 15-member ODI squad, with KL Rahul named vice-captain. The squad also features senior stars Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli, who return for the three-match series.
Ruturaj Gaikwad, Yashasvi Jaiswal and Nitish Kumar Reddy are among the batting options, while Ravindra Jadeja and Kuldeep Yadav add experience in the all-rounder and spin departments. Mohammed Siraj, Prasidh Krishna and Gurnoor Brar are among the pace options.
The squad also includes maiden ODI call-ups for Auqib Nabi and Naman Dhir, adding fresh faces to an otherwise experienced group.

India’s squad comprises Shubman Gill (captain), Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, Ruturaj Gaikwad, KL Rahul (vice-captain), Dhruv Jurel, Nitish Kumar Reddy, Ravindra Jadeja, Kuldeep Yadav, Prasidh Krishna, Gurnoor Brar, Mohammed Siraj, Auqib Nabi, Yashasvi Jaiswal and Naman Dhir.
The first ODI in Thiruvananthapuram will mark the beginning of an important home assignment for Gill’s side as India continue preparations for the 2027 ODI World Cup. West Indies have also announced their squad for the tour, with Shai Hope set to lead the Caribbean side.
