Prime Minister Narendra Modi said during a program organized in Delhi that India now responds to terrorists in their own language. Despite many obstacles and hurdles, the Indian economy remains the fastest growing economy in the world.
PM Modi on Terrorism: Prime Minister Narendra Modi said during an event on Friday, now India does not remain silent after terrorist attacks, but gives a befitting reply to the enemy through surgical strikes, air strikes and Operation Sindoor. There are many hurdles and roadblocks, but India remains “invincible”, he said. The PM further said, while wars remain in the headlines across the world, India has proved the critics wrong by emerging as the fastest growing economy.
India is in no mood to stop now
Prime Minister Modi said in his address, today when the world is facing many types of obstacles and deadlocks, it is important to talk about invincible India. He said, “We will neither stop nor slow down. 140 crore Indians will move forward together at full speed. India has now overtaken the weak economies of the world and joined the top-5 economies of the world. From chips to ships, India is self-reliant and full of confidence in every field.”

More than 300 Maoists surrendered in 24 hours
Prime Minister Narendra Modi said at an event on Friday night that more than 300 Maoists have surrendered in the last 24 hours. These were not ordinary people. There was a bounty on his head and a large cache of weapons was recovered from him. In the last 50-55 years, Maoist terrorists have killed thousands of people. These Naxalites did not allow schools or hospitals to be built. They did not allow doctors to enter the clinic. They used to bomb institutions. Maoist terrorism was injustice to the youth. This is why the Government of India has made special efforts to reach out to ‘these misguided youth’ and bring them back into the mainstream. Today the country is seeing the results of these efforts.”
Number of Naxal affected districts reduced from 125 to 11
PM Modi said, due to the mass surrender of Maoists, the government has succeeded in reducing the number of Naxal-affected districts across the country from 125 districts a decade ago to only 11. Let us tell you that last Thursday, 170 Naxalites surrendered in Chhattisgarh alone. This is an area of the country which has historically been battling the Maoist threat.
Congress always remained away from the public
The Prime Minister also targeted the previous Congress governments at the Center and accused them of being away from the people. “Unlike the Congress, we worked towards democratizing policies. This is the driving force behind Ajay Bharat. Congress had driven people away from banks. Poor people were afraid to go to banks. When we took power, half the population did not even have bank accounts,” he said.
