New Delhi: India Mobile Congress 2025 is scheduled to take place between 8 and 11 October at the Yashobhoomi Convention Centre in New Delhi. The theme for this years event is ‘Innovate to Transform’, with a focus on self-reliance in telecom and digital technologies. Over 1.5 lakh visitors, 7000 delegates and 400 exhiubitors are expected at the event, where over 1,600 novel technologies will be showcased across 5G, AI and cybersecurity technologies. There are over 100 sessions planned, with over 800 speakers.

The event will be inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. There will be six major global summits over the course of the conference. These are the International Bharat 6G symposium featuring India’s 6G research and the Bharat 6G Alliance, the International AI summit, the Cyber Security Summit, the Satcom Summit, the IMC Aspire Programme for startups and venture capitalists, and the Global Startup World Cup India Edition where 15 finalists will complete for a one million dollar investment opportunity.
Preparations reviewed by Jyotiraditya Scindia
Ahead of the event, the organisation and venue was reviewed by Jyotiraditya M Scindia, the Union Minister for Communications who travelled to the venue by Delhi Metro. The Airport line connects directly to the venue, providing easy access. The Union Minister toured the exhibition area, interacted with the participating startups, and chaired review meetings with senior officials from the Department of Telecommunications (DoT), the Cellular Operators Association of India (COAI) and partnering agencies. He also addressed the media, explaining the scale, ambition and global significance of IMC 2025. Scindia said, “Our strength lies in our ability to design in India, solve in India, and scale in India. IMC 2025 will celebrate this journey of technological self-reliance and innovation.”
