India A registered a spectacular victory in the first warm-up match of the T20 World Cup. The hero of the team’s victory was N Jagadeesan, who played an amazing century. Jagadishan scored 104 runs in 55 balls. India A, batting first, scored 238 runs and in reply USA team scored 200 runs and thus lost the match by 38 runs. The interesting thing is that 438 runs were scored in this match and a total of 21 sixes were hit in the match.

India A’s victory was decided by N Jagadeesan’s century as well as Ayush Badoni’s stormy half-century. Both these batsmen gave a tremendous beating to the American bowlers. Jagadishan hit 4 sixes and 11 fours in his innings and he completed his century in 49 balls. On the other hand, Ayush Badoni scored an inning of 60 runs in 26 balls after scoring a half-century in just 21 balls. In bowling, Ravi Bishnoi took maximum 3 wickets. Naman Dheer got 2 wickets. Ayush Badoni, Tilak Verma, Ashok Sharma got 1 wicket each.
America scored 200 runs
America chased the huge target of 239 runs with great courage. Andreas Gaus and captain Monak Patel started batting fast but in this attempt the captain was out after scoring 10 runs. Saiteja could not open a complete account. Milind Kumar scored 18 runs. After this, Sanjay Krishnamurthy batted aggressively and scored 41 runs in 18 balls. 4 sixes and 2 fours came from his bat. Harmeet Singh gave 25 runs in 9 balls and Mohammad Mohsin scored 21 runs in 10 balls to give America a chance but in the end only India A won. In this match, American batsmen hit 9 sixes while India A hit 12 sixes. Overall, a good match was seen in Navi Mumbai. More than 5 thousand people had come to watch this match.

After India A, now the Indian cricket team will play a warm-up match against South Africa on 4th February. This match will also be held at DY Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai. India A team will play another warm-up match against Namibia on 6 February.
