Independence Day 2025: We celebrate Independence Day with full pride and enthusiasm every year on 15 August. On this day we remember the freedom fighters who have given us political freedom by sacrificing their lives. It is a big achievement to be free from external control, but can this freedom alone give us true happiness and peace? In today’s era, when the youth are surrounded by all kinds of physical amenities, still problems like anxiety, stress and depression are increasing in them. According to Prashant Mukund Das, the reason for this is the six enemies inside us. These are enemies that make us externally successful, but make us hollow from inside. Let’s know what are these six enemies and how can they get rid of them.
These are the 6 internal enemies of man
Work: This is not just lust, but a strong desire to get anything. When no wish is fulfilled, the person becomes restless and unhappy. This sorrow arises from the work.
Anger: Anger is the fire that burns us first. This arises when our wishes are not fulfilled. Anger damages our mental health and also spoils relationships.
Greed: Greed means longing to get more. No matter how successful the person is, he is always in the desire of more. This craving never allows him to be satisfied and he always feels incomplete.
fascination: Fascination means excessive attachment to a person, object or situation. When we feel that we will lose that thing, we feel fear and sorrow. Moh can force us to ignore the needs of others, which spoils our relationships.
Item : The item or ego makes us feel superior to others. Egoistic person neither learns anything from others nor can see his shortcomings. This makes us alone and unhappy.
jealousy : This is a feeling of jealousy with the success or happiness of others. A person suffering from jealousy is not happy in the happiness of others and always compare himself to others, due to which he remains under constant stress.
What is true freedom?
Prashant Mukund Das says that defeating these six enemies is not possible with physical means. Today’s youth is surrounded by these enemies, and until he adopts the spiritual path, it is difficult to get rid of these interiors. Spiritual knowledge helps us understand that true happiness is not in external achievements, but in peace of mind. Satsang means the association of good people and gurus gives us the right guidance. At the same time, meditation, yoga and prayer like Sadhana calms our mind and make us strong from within.
Self-thinking time
Just as we respect the national flag every year, the time has come that we should also resolve to free our soul from these internal bonds. The experience of true freedom will be able to be able to be free not only politically, but also spiritually. It is not only about external freedom, but also about internal freedom, which gives us permanent happiness and peace.
