Deepti Sharma Suffering From Mild Fever: A 5-match T20 series is being played between the women’s teams of India and Sri Lanka. In the second match of the series, both the teams faced each other at Dr. YS Rajasekhara Reddy ACA-VDCA Cricket Stadium, Visakhapatnam. Team India, which had won convincingly in the opening match, entered the field with a major change in this match. The team’s star all-rounder Deepti Sharma did not take part in this match. BCCI itself gave the reason for not selecting Deepti Sharma in the playing 11.

Deepti Sharma had shown amazing performance in the first match of this series. He took 1 wicket for just 20 runs in 4 overs. The benefit of which he got in ICC rankings also. She became the number-1 bowler in the T20I rankings. This is the first time that Deepti Sharma has achieved the first position in the ICC T20I bowling rankings. She left Australia’s Annabel Sutherland behind.
