ICC Women’s World Cup between India and Pakistan saw a continuous drama in the 2025 match. It was started by calling the Pakistani captain as the winner despite not joining the hands of the captains during the toss. If this was not enough, then the Pakistani team killed an ax on their own feet during the match. The Pakistani team, which has quickly settled the top order of Team India, missed the opportunity to take wickets. Due to a mistake of the bowler, Pakistan’s hand came out of the hand and immediately he got punishment.
All this was seen in this match between India and Pakistan in Colombo on Sunday 5 October. Team India, the match being held at R Premdasa Stadium, descended for the first batting. Smriti Mandhana and Pratika Rawal started a recent start for him, but then in some time the wickets started falling. For just 106 runs, Team India had lost 3 wickets and in such a situation a big partnership was needed, for which Jemima Rodriguez and Harleen Deol needed to be frozen at the crease.
But before this partnership could get bigger, trouble broke out on Team India. Passer Diana Baig, who was bowling in the 27th over of the innings, appealed for a catch against Jemima on the third ball and the umpire gave her out. The entire Pakistani team started celebrating this wicket, while Jemima was seen returning to the pavilion. But before this atmosphere could last longer, then the hooter rang in Premadasa Stadium and the happiness of the Pakistani team was destroyed.
Actually, this hooter was played by Diana Baig’s mistake because her foot was not inside the crease. That is, it was not legal delivery and hence it was called no-ball. What was it then, Jemima got a life and Team India got relief. Team India also got a free-hit and Jemima stored a four on him. That is, on a legal ball, Team India scored 5 runs and punished Pakistan for its mistake. Jemima was just 2 runs at that time.
