However, just when the Caribbean nation looked on the brink of folding out for cheap, tailenders Khary Pierre and Anderson Phillip dug in against the odds to survive a lethal spell of spin bowling and edge the team closer to Lunch. However, as much as the duo were desperate to survive the session, the hosts were not very keen either on continuing without a break resulting in an absurd on-field circumstance.

After a few secionds of confusion, the players quickly returned to their stations, allowing one more over to go through before Lunch was finally called.
