Team India Playing 11: For the last match of the five-match T20 series between India and South Africa, both the teams faced each other at the Narendra Modi Stadium, the world’s largest cricket stadium in Ahmedabad. India is leading 2-1 in the series and the fourth match was canceled due to fog in Lucknow. In this important match, South Africa won the toss and decided to bowl first, due to which Team India got the chance to bat first. On the other hand, captain Suryakumar Yadav and head coach Gautam Gambhir made three important changes in the playing 11 for this match.
Big change in India’s playing 11
Indian T20 team vice-captain Shubman Gill could not take part in this match due to a leg injury. Gill’s performance in this series was also not special, so wicketkeeper-batsman Sanju Samson was included in the team in his place. Samson came to play for the first time in this series and also took the responsibility of opening.
Changes were also seen in the bowling department. Star fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah returned to the team after rest from personal area, due to which young pacer Harshit Rana had to sit out. At the same time, off-spin all-rounder Washington Sundar was given a chance in place of spinner Kuldeep Yadav. These changes can prove to strengthen Team India, especially with the return of Bumrah, the pace attack will become sharper. At the same time, Suryakumar Yadav said after the toss that he too would have liked to bat first, because the wicket looks good and the effect of dew will be less.
