Former Indian skipper started off slow but once he picked up the momentum, then came the moment everyone in the stadium had been waiting for.
With Lungi Ngidi banging one in short, Rohit moved into position and unleashed the trademark pull shot that has made crowds roar around the world. The ball sailed deep into the stands, and Vizag erupted. It wasn’t just the fans in fact, Virat Kohli also joined them as he gave a grin and applauded the shot with a couple of delighted claps. It was a brief but heart-warming reminder of the bond that the two senior players share and why the “Ro-Ko” pairing is still one of India’s biggest attractions.
