Hardik Pandya Fastest T20i Fifty: Team India’s star all-rounder Hardik Pandya has created a stir with the bat in the fifth T20 International match against South Africa. He has thoroughly defeated the bowlers of the visiting team at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. He scored a half-century in just 16 balls. With this, he has become the second batsman for India after Yuvraj Singh to score the fastest fifty in T20I. Hardik broke the big record of Abhishek Sharma on the basis of this explosive innings. His bat was on fire from the very first ball.
Hardik broke Abhishek Sharma’s record
In the fifth T20 International against South Africa, Hardik Pandya completed his half-century in just 16 balls and broke Abhishek Sharma’s big record. Explosive left-handed batsman Abhishek had scored a fifty in 17 balls and was the second Indian to score the fastest T20I 50, but now Hardik has overtaken him in this list. At the same time, the record of Sixer King Yuvraj Singh is still intact. He scored a half-century in 12 balls against England in the 2007 T20 World Cup.

Team India made a huge score
Batting first against South Africa at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, Team India scored 231 runs after losing 5 wickets in 20 overs. Hardik Pandya scored 63 runs in 25 balls with the help of 5 fours and 5 sixes. Apart from him, Tilak Verma also played a brilliant innings and scored 73 runs in 42 balls with the help of 10 fours and 1 six. Whereas, Sanju Samson scored 37 runs in 22 balls and Abhishek Sharma scored 34 runs in 21 balls. Captain Suryakumar Yadav once again got away cheaply. Only 5 runs came from his bat. Shivam Dubey scored 6* runs on 2 balls.
