IND vs PAK, T20 World Cup 2026: The group stage match of T20 World Cup 2026 between India and Pakistan was played at R Premadasa Stadium in Colombo. India gave a crushing defeat to Pakistan in this match. India batted first and made a strong score. At the same time, Pakistan faltered in the chase and lost by a huge margin. After the big defeat by Team India by 61 runs, Salman Aga said, ‘Our spinners were on off day today. Execution was lacking in some parts. We have full confidence in our spinners because they have performed brilliantly in the last six months. While also talking about batting, he said, ‘We lost a lot of wickets in the powerplay, which proved to be the turning point of the match.’
Speaking about the pitch, Salman Aga said, ‘In the first innings, the pitch was a bit tacky and the ball was gripping well. There was lack of execution in bowling also. But in the second innings the pitch was playing better than before. He also admitted that emotions are always high in such big matches, but the team knows how to cope with it. He said, ‘We have played many such matches. Now the next match is after two days, we will have to look towards that. It is necessary to win that match and qualify for the Super Eights. After that the tournament will start again.
India defeated in a one-sided manner
In this match, Pakistan won the toss and chose to bowl first, but the Indian team made a strong score of 175 runs in 20 overs. In reply, Pakistan team was all out for 114 runs in 18 overs. Due to which India won by 61 runs and confirmed its place in Super 8. Pakistan had a very bad start in the chase. Four wickets fell in the power play itself and the score reached only 38 runs. Usman Khan scored the highest score of 44 runs, but apart from him no one could score big.
