Team India won the Asia Cup for 9th time
Asia cup 2025 final result: Team India once again won the Asia Cup title. In the thrilling final match against Pakistan in Dubai, Team India won the match and title by 5 wickets on the basis of Kuldeep Yadav’s deadly bowling and then Tilak Verma’s combative half -century innings. Along with this, Team India completed the hat -trick of victory against Pakistan in the tournament and also captured the Asia Cup Trophy for the 9th time.
Pakistan started this final in a strong manner at the Dubai International Stadium on Sunday, 28 September. While batting first, opener Sahibzada Farhan and Fakhar Zaman made a great start by playing aggressive innings. Farhan once again targeted Jasprit Bumrah and gave 57 runs in just 38 balls. Farhan and Fakhar had an excellent partnership of 84 runs. After this, Fakhar Jaman took the front and took the score forward and brought the team to 100 runs.
But when the Pakistani team was seen in the best position, then Kuldeep Yadav wreaked havoc. In the 13th over, Kuldeep dismissed Symime Ayub and gave Pakistan a second blow on a score of 113 runs. From here, Pakistan lost wickets in the next 5 overs and on seeing this, the whole team collapsed for just 146 runs. In this, Kuldeep took 3 wickets for just 1 run in the 17th over. Apart from Kuldeep, Varun Chakraborty, Akshar Patel and Bumrah took 2-2 wickets.
Prior to this match, Team India defeated Pakistan in a unilateral manner in the group stage and Super-4 round and it was the reason for the opener Abhishek Sharma, who gave the team to an easy victory by giving a start in both those matches.
