IND vs AUS 1st T20i: The first T20 match between India and Australia has been canceled due to rain. Team India had strengthened its hold in this match and batting first was moving towards a big innings. Rain ruined everything in Canberra.

India vs Australia 1st T20I Called off: The first T20 International match between India and Australia has been washed out due to rain. This match being played between the two teams in Canberra has been cancelled. After losing the toss, the Indian team was batting first and had scored 97 runs in 9.4 overs. Captain Suryakumar Yadav and vice-captain Shubhman Gill were batting well and taking the team towards a big total. But rain interrupted the match and the match was not possible. In the end it was decided to cancel this match.

Due to rain the match was being played in 18-18 overs. Indian batting has shown amazing performance so far in the first T20I against Australia. In 9.4 overs, India has scored 97 runs on the board, while losing only 1 wicket. Abhishek Sharma was out after scoring 19 runs in 14 balls with the help of 4 fours. Suryakumar Yadav (34* in 24 balls) and Shubman Gill (37* in 20 balls) were playing at the crease. There was a partnership of 62* runs on 35 balls between the two for the second wicket. But then the match could not be played again.

Suryakumar Yadav became the fifth batsman with most sixes

Even though this match was cancelled, Suryakumar Yadav has made a great record in his name by playing an excellent innings. He has a total of 150 sixes in his name in T20I. He has become the top 5 batsman in the world in terms of hitting most number of sixes. Ahead of him, Rohit Sharma at first position has hit 201 sixes, Mohammad Wasim at second position with 187 sixes, Martin Guptill at third position with 173 sixes and Josh Butler at fourth position with 172 sixes.

Surya became the second batsman to hit the fastest 150 sixes.

Apart from this, Suryakumar Yadav has become the second batsman in the world to hit the fastest 150 sixes in T20 International. He has achieved this feat in just 86 innings. Surya broke the record of former New Zealand batsman Martin Guptill who had achieved this feat in 86 innings. Currently at number one is Mohammad Wasim of UAE, who has hit 150 sixes in 66 innings.
