For Team India, 14 year old Vaibhav Suryavanshi once again made a explosive start and scored 19 runs in the first over itself. Vaibhav, who hit 2 sixes in the first over, hit 2 sixers in the second over as well and soon Team India completed 50 runs in 3.1 overs. Although Vaibhav was out in the same over, but after him Priyansh Arya attacked and hit sixes and fours. Priyansh had taken the team to 98 runs before getting out in the 10th over.
However, by this time Team India had lost 3 wickets but at such a time, captain Jitesh Sharma took charge of the team and along with Nehal Wadhera took the team to 150 runs. But Jitesh was out on the last ball of the 15th over and from here Bangladesh made a comeback and put India A in trouble. In the last over, 16 runs were needed to win and Ashutosh Sharma hit a six on the third ball. Ashutosh hit a four on the next ball. Now 4 runs were needed in 2 balls but Ashutosh was bowled on the fifth ball.
In such a situation, Harsh Dubey, who came on the last ball, played a straight shot towards the fielder but the Indian batsman ran for 2 runs. It was here that the Bangladesh keeper made the mistake of running out and failed to do so, taking advantage of which the Indian batsmen completed the third run and the match was tied, after which the decision was taken by Super Over.
In the Super Over, the Indian team batted first and for that, captain Jitesh Sharma came out to bat first. But he got bowled on the very first ball. Then Ashutosh came as the new batsman and he too got caught on the second ball. In this way India A could not score even a single run in its super over.
