Heavy Rain Alert: Rain and floods continue to wreak havoc in North India. Life is affected by heavy rains in many districts of Delhi-NCR, UP, Uttarakhand and Bihar, so the Meteorological Department has warned not to get relief for the next one week.

In such a situation, the Meteorological Department has issued a warning of heavy rain in many places and has expressed the possibility of the weather patterns for the next one week. Since the first week of August, the Terai areas of the Himalayas have been receiving continuous rains, due to which the situation in Uttarakhand and North Bihar remains critical.
Travels stalled in Uttarakhand
Due to heavy rains, life in Uttarakhand has been disturbed. The visit to Badrinath, Kedarnath and Hemkund Sahib has been postponed by Thursday. The Yamunotri walking route has been closed for two days due to landslides, while the visit to Gangotri Dham has also stopped due to the Dharali disaster. Chardham Yatra routes are in dangerous condition due to landslides at many places. In Rishikesh, a truck was swept away in the Ganges due to the landslide, in which Sadiq and Farman, a resident of Haridwar, are missing.

Flood -like conditions in five districts of Punjab
The Beas Dariya near Amritsar in Punjab is flowing above the danger mark, while the water level of Sutlej has also increased. There are flood -like conditions in Gurdaspur, Kapurthala, Hoshiarpur, Amritsar and Ferozepur. 16 villages have been surrounded by Beas water due to temporary dam breakdown in Bhaini Kadar village of Kapurthala district. Late night rains in Jalandhar have dropped by three to four degrees in temperature, but waterlogging has been created in many parts of the city.
Millions of people affected by floods in Bihar
Floods in 10 districts along the Ganges in Bihar have affected a population of about 25 lakhs. In many areas, water has entered villages due to breaking of ring dams. Due to this, people are facing a lot of problems. Explain that the Meteorological Department has advised to be vigilant due to rain for the next few days in Uttar Pradesh, Delhi-NCR, Punjab, Bihar and Uttarakhand.
