A woman was adamant in the Supreme Court on Wednesday in front of a bench of three judges. During the virtual hearing of a case in the apex court, the bench personally ordered the woman to appear in the court.

On this, the woman flatly denied that she will be able to argue in the court only through video conferencing. The Supreme Court also offered to pay all expenses to the woman to come, but the woman refused. The woman cited the court to be busy with private work.

The bench of Justice Suryakant, Justice Dipankar Dutta and Justice Ujjal Bhuiyan was hearing an application filed by the woman in the court. The woman was arguing herself on her side. When the court asked the woman why she was not appearing personally despite offering help by the National Legal Services Authority (NALSA), she said that she had to take care of someone in her family. The woman said that she stays far away and also does a job, so she cannot come to court.

The woman told the court, “What is the problem you have to argue? The court asked the woman,” The job is more important or this case for which you are arguing? ” Can’t you take out even a day for this? “The woman said that the job is more important for her. After hearing the arguments of the woman, the court also offered her to appoint a Supreme Court lawyer of her choice for free and spend the expenses of going to Delhi, but the woman was adamant on her stubbornness.
