Hemant soren emotional farewell: An era in Jharkhand came to an end with the body of former Jharkhand Chief Minister and Rajya Sabha MP Dishom Guru Shibu Soren merged into the five elements. The last rites of the late Shibu Soren were performed with full state honors at his native village Nemra in Gola block of Ramgarh district. Chief Minister Hemant Soren cremated his father’s body with traditional customs. During this time everyone’s eyes were moist. Congress national president Mallikarjun Kharge, Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi and former Deputy Chief Minister of Bihar Tejashwi Yadav reached Nemra in Gola Ramgarh today and attended the funeral of Shibu Soren.
The masses gathered in the last Johar
Earlier, the body of the late Shibu Soren was kept from his residence in Morhabadi, Ranchi, for his last darshan in his native village Nemra. Thousands of people here bid farewell to “Guruji” with emotional and moist eyes. Be it common or special, a large crowd gathered in Nemra village for the last rites of late Shibu Soren. People came from every corner of the state for his last darshan. Everyone was involved in this from specific to the common man. All paid their enthusiasm to Dishom Guru Ji, the pioneer, guide and patron of the state of Jharkhand. During this time everyone’s mind was unhappy, distressed and moist.
Greed atmosphere in Nemra
Dishom was sent to wood from every house in the village for the final farewell of Guru Shibu Soren. In fact, as soon as the information about the death of Dishom Guru Shibu Soren ji was received, weeds and silence were found in his ancestral village Nemra. Everyone was inconsolable. The stoves were not burning in the houses. Today, as soon as Dishom Guruji’s body reached his ancestral home, the whole routine cried. Tears were flowing from the eyes of family members and relatives from far-flung areas of the state. Everyone bowed to Dishom Guruji and gave him a final farewell.
Hemant Soren lit the pyre
His son and Chief Minister Hemant Soren lit the pyre. As soon as the pyre started burning, Hemant and his brother Basant Soren could not stop their tears. As soon as the funeral procession reached the crematorium, torrential rain started, but despite this the crowd did not back down. People bid farewell to their leader while wet in the rain. As soon as the body was cremated, every eye present there became moist. Prior to the funeral, a contingent of the armed forces gave him a guard of honor. As soon as his body wrapped in the tricolor reached Nemra, a crowd of villagers gathered.
Last journey between drums and slogans
The last journey was taken out between the dhol-nagara echo and slogans of ‘Veer Shibu Soren Amar Rahe’. There was so much crowd on the roads and ghats that there was no place to set foot. Congress national president Mallikarjun Kharge, Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi, Union Minister Juel Oram, RJD’s Tejashwi Yadav, Purnia MP Rajesh Ranjan alias Pappu Yadav, TMC MP Derek O. Bryan were present on the occasion. Pappu Yadav described him as a symbol of struggle and demanded Bharat Ratna.
Tribute paid with state honors in assembly
The last journey started from the residence at Morhabadi at 10:45 am on Monday. The funeral procession first reached the Jharkhand Legislative Assembly, where he was paid tribute with state honors. Thousands of people here paid their last tribute to him from Monday evening to Tuesday morning. 81 -year -old Shibu Soren died on Monday morning. The state government has announced a three -day state mourning on his death.
