Madhya Pradesh News: Big news has come out from Madhya Pradesh. After the death of 10 children in Chhindwara, the Mohan Yadav government of the state has banned the sale of Coldrif syrup on Saturday. Chief Minister Mohan Yadav issued a statement in this regard and said that strict action will be taken against whoever is found guilty in it. Let us know that the Tamil Nadu government has already banned this syrup.
Ban on the sale of other products of the company
Posting on X, stopping the Chief Minister’s syrup, said that the death of children due to Coldrif syrup in Chindwara is very sad. The sale of this syrup has been banned throughout Madhya Pradesh. The sale of other products of the company making syrup is also being banned.

Ban in MP after investigation by Tamil Nadu government
The syrup making factory is in Kanchipuram, so after the incident came to the notice, the state government had asked the Tamil Nadu government to investigate. The investigation report was received this morning. Based on the report, strict action has been taken. Action was going on at the local level after the sad death of the children. At the state level also a team has been formed to investigate the matter. The culprits will not be spared at any cost.
Syrup ban already in Chhindwara
Explain that the Chhindwara administration came into action after the deaths due to continuous syrup and the administration had already imposed a district-wide ban on Coldrif and Nextro-DS syrup. Now the state level has also been banned. Apart from this, a special team has been formed for investigation. Which will detect the real reason and the guilty.
First death due to cup syrup in Chhindwara on August 24
10 children died due to drinking cup syrup in Chhindwara of MP. The first suspected case came to light on 24 August. The first death occurred on 7 September. After this, 6 children died one by one due to kidney failure in 15 days. His kidney swab samples were taken. Its investigation found diathylene glycol contaminated. In this case, Pawan Nandulkar, a doctor and pediatrician of Chhindwara Medical College, said that a cuff syrup is common among 80% of children. Initial investigation is revealing only a disturbance in Kapha syrup. Therefore, an inquiry committee has been constituted.
