PM Modi on Terrorism at Sco Meeting: In a meeting of the Shanghai Cooperation Council held in Tianjin, China, Prime Minister Narendra Modi targeted Pakistan Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif on the issue of terrorism without naming him.
SCO Summit 2025: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has visited China after 7 years. Today is the second day of PM Modi’s visit to China. Recently he met Chinese President Xi Chinfing. Prime Minister Modi, President Putin and Chinese President Xi Jinping appeared together before the SCO summit started. SCO member countries will grant US $ 281 million. This will be helpful to meet the economic and development needs of member countries.
“The biggest threat in the path of terrorism peace”
Prime Minister Narendra Modi while addressing the meeting of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization held in Tianjin said that terrorism is the biggest threat in the path of peace. Modi targeted Pakistan Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif without naming the issue of terrorism. He said, “India has been facing the brunt of terrorism for the last four decades. Recently we saw the worst form of terrorism in Pahalgam.”

PM Modi said that terrorism is a threat to everyone and no country can consider itself completely safe from it. PM Modi told SCO countries that terrorism, separatism and extremism are big challenges for peace, prosperity and stability of any nation. PM Modi said that India is playing an active role in SCO. India has launched a joint information campaign against al-Qaeda-linked groups and has raised continuous voice against funding terrorism. He said, “Safety, peace and stability are the foundation of the development of any country. Terrorism is a common challenge, which will have to be resolved together.”
