New Delhi: In his first attack since leaving Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), Rajya Sabha MP Raghav Chadha on Saturday attacked his former party over “Sheesh Mahal Part Two”. This came hours after BJP levelled charges against former Delhi chief minister and AAP national convenor Arvind Kejriwal over his “lavish lifestyle” in Punjab.
Chadha, who joined BJP a day earlier, while talking to reporters said, “Another important point is that today, Sheesh Mahal Part Two has come in Delhi. Some pictures of it have surfaced.”

BJP’s attack on Kejriwal during Delhi elections
He said Sheesh Mahal was one of the major reason’s for AAP’s loss in 2025 Delhi assembly elections. “If there was one major reason for the Aam Aadmi Party’s loss in the Delhi elections, the Sheesh Mahal was one of the main reasons for the party’s defeat,” he added.
AAP was dislodged from power in capital by BJP. One of the most potent attack by BJP was of the Sheesh Mahal jibe aimed at Kejriwal after he allegedly spent crores of rupees over the renovation of the CM’s house.
He attacked the party over “Sheesh Mahal Part Two”. He said, “I wonder how the few remaining good workers of the Aam Aadmi Party will respond when people in the streets and localities ask them questions about Sheesh Mahal. The Aam Aadmi Party should introspect and think about it.”
What BJP said on Kejriwal’s Sheesh Mahal 2
BJP MLA and Delhi minister Parvesh Sahib Singh Verma in a press conference, earlier today, accused Kejriwal of making another “Sheesh Mahal” at Lodhi Estate in Punjab. “After he was forced out of Sheesh Mahal by Dhurandhar voters of Delhi, he shifted to Punjab, where he grabbed a bungalow, and now he has prepared Sheesh Mahal 2 at Lodhi Estate,” Verma said.
During the press briefing, the BJP also showed the alleged pictures of the Type VII bungalow that Centre allocated to Kejriwal as chief of AAP. The party accused Kejriwal of spending “private money” to create amenities at the bungalow. AAP rejected the accusations.
Earlier on Friday, Raghav Chadha broke his 15-year-old relation with AAP and joined BJP in presence of party chief Nitin Nabin in Delhi. Chadha joined the BJP along with six other AAP Rajya Sabha MPs in a big setback for the party.
