In Bihar, where BJP never got votes, now ‘door-to-door’ revolution has started. Njp Identifies 12000 Weak Voting Booth For Bihar Election 2025

BJP is strengthening its ground in Seemanchal for 2025 Bihar elections. The party is running a “door-to-door” campaign at 12,000 vulnerable booths. Its aim is to strengthen its position by adding some new votes at every booth based on government schemes.

Patna: The stage is set for the 2025 Bihar elections. The posters have changed, the slogans are new, but this time the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has made the most interesting move in an area where till now its presence has been limited only to the map. Seemanchal, i.e. Araria, Kishanganj, Purnia and Katihar, is the area where BJP did not get a single vote at many booths in 2020. But this time, there is an attempt to turn the tables, and the mission is “Ghar-Ghar Dastak, Har Vote Se Rishta Samadhi.”

Now “weak booths” will become “Vijay Kendra”

The party has identified around 12,000 weak booths across Bihar, of which more than 70% are in Seemanchal. BJP’s ground game has started at these booths, that too without crowd, without stage, without posters. 10 to 15 local volunteers have been deployed at every booth, whose job is to go to every house, join hands, and say, give us also a chance.

According to party sources, each volunteer has been given a target, “If you add even just two votes, the mission is successful.” This sounds trivial, but when you increase 10 votes in 12,000 booths, that figure can go up to 1.2 lakh new votes.

trust delivery

BJP Minority Morcha President Jamal Siddiqui has taken command of this mission. His strategy is clear that there will be no discussion on anyone’s religion, caste or politics. There will be talk of plans, work and trust. The people of the team will give information about the government schemes to the villagers and will tell how many people in the village have got Pradhan Mantri Awas, Ujjwala Gas, Jan Dhan Account or Ayushman Card.

That means now the way of asking for votes has changed, volunteers will now just go to people’s doors and say, “Your neighbor got it, now it’s your turn, just bless us.”

‘Door-to-door’ revolution in politics of Seemanchal

From Kochadhaman in Kishanganj to Jokihat in Araria, small teams of BJP are now setting up Mohalla Chaupal every evening. No DJ, no drum talk and discussion of government schemes. BJP is considering this not just as an election strategy but as a “political laboratory”. A senior party strategist says, “In 2020, we were not losing here, we were ‘absent’. Now we are in the field, in talks, and in every village.”

Interestingly, for the first time in these areas, along with Minority Morcha, Mahila Morcha and Yuva Morcha have also become active. Women workers have been given the responsibility of “Mother-Sister Dialogue” program. In which the benefits of government schemes will be explained directly to women.

NDA tuning continues

On the other hand, in Delhi, BJP’s election in-charge Dharmendra Pradhan held a meeting with LJP (Ram Vilas) chief Chirag Paswan. According to sources, the draft of seat sharing in NDA is almost ready.

The agreement between BJP and JDU is said to be “friendly”, while Chirag Paswan is still adamant on the demand of 30 seats. BJP wants LJP to be fielded in some new areas of Seemanchal so that the “anti-RJD” vote bank can be polarized.
