Treatment of elderly
The appointment of doctors in Delhi AIIMS is not easily available. Online is a month waiting and a large crowd offline, but this is not the case for the elderly (those older than 60 years). AIIMS has the National Center for Aging to treat people over 60 years of age. In which recently many facilities have been increased. To register in this center, neither long lines have to be installed nor online waiting. In most cases, according to the token, the number is found as soon as possible. The special thing is that in this one center, the elderly get all kinds of treatment under one roof.
Assistant Professor Ambika Singh in Jeriatric Department at AIIMS Told that this is a center made with the World Health Organization, there is facility available from general OPD to surgery and mental health counseling for the elderly. The National Center for aging also has treatment from heart treatment to bone disease and common disease of the elderly like dementia.
Here in OPD, every type of doctors see the elderly and they do not have to go to other departments to meet different doctors. All treatments are done in this one center itself. If it seems that the problem is more, then on the basis of it, AIIMS is referred from here in other special departments.
All types of investigation are done
Dr. Ambika said that all types of blood test reports are also done from X-ray-ultrasound in this center. Medical oncology facility is also available in the center. In the center, experts of various clinics like physical medicine and rehabilitation for the elderly have been kept together.
Dr. Ambika informed that this center has the facility of gynecology for elderly women and also from physiotherapy to dietician. So that the elderly are given diet according to their illness.

Dr. Ambika told that the appointment in this center is available in both online and offline methods. One does not have to do venting here. According to the token, the number is attached and the elderly are seen in OPD according to their health problem. Anyone over 60 years of age in the National Center for aging can get his treatment even if the disease is anyone.
According to Dr. Ambika, continuous work is being done to make the National Center for Aging more better for the elderly. Operation theater has also been started here. Work is also being done to increase the number of beds in future.
