Former Governor Satyapal Malik died
Former Jammu and Kashmir Governor Satyapal Malik died at 1:10 pm today at Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital in Delhi. He was ill for a long time. Satyapal Malik was born in July 1946 in Hisawada village in Baghpat district of Uttar Pradesh. He studied BSc from Meerut University and then law. During college days, he joined student politics and later became active in mainstream politics.

He had been the Chief Minister of Jharkhand three times. His son and current Chief Minister Hemant Soren were present in the hospital when Shibu Soren breathed his last.
