Imran Tahir is a legend – not just because he holds an impressive record, but also because he is 46, but still loves the sport like a youngster and is hungry to do well.
He was on fire in the Caribbean Premier League (CPL) match against Antigua and Barbuda Falcons and spun his team, Guyana Amazon Warriors, to an 83-run win with a five-wicket haul. Tahir ended the match with figures of 5-21 in four overs.
Warriors posted a challenging score of 211-3 after Shai Hope’s 82 and Shimron Hetmyer’s 63, and Tahir’s spell ensured that Falcons fell way short of the target. The stunning spell helped Imran Tahir shatter multiple records in T20 cricket.
