A chartered accountant bride from Agra has made serious allegations of assault and harassment against her in-laws, calling her husband impotent after a few months of marriage. Brother-in-law is also accused of molestation. The police have registered a case against the husband and in-laws and started investigation.
The marriage which was considered a new beginning of life, became a story of pain, fear and humiliation for an educated and self-reliant woman. The bride, a chartered accountant from Agra, cried emotionally when she presented her ordeal to the Agra Police Commissioner. This woman, working in a multinational company in Gurugram, expressed the pain of breaking her house within a few months of marriage.
The woman made serious allegations against her husband and in-laws, saying that her husband was impotent and kept beating her continuously to hide his physical weakness. Not only this, she has also accused her brother-in-law of misbehavior and coercion. Seeing the seriousness of the matter, Shahganj police station has registered a case against the husband and in-laws and started investigation.

Truth hidden before marriage
In the complaint given to the police, the victim, resident of PNT Colony, Agra, told that she was married to Sachin Mittal, resident of Gurugram Sector-50, on 10 May 2024. Sachin is an engineer by profession, while he himself is working as a chartered accountant in an MNC in Gurugram.
The victim alleges that at the time of marriage, her in-laws deliberately hid the truth of her husband’s physical weakness. After marriage, when she came to know about her husband being impotent and raised questions, she was beaten up. Her mother-in-law and father-in-law hushed her by saying that the treatment was going on and everything would be fine.
Brother-in-law accused of molestation, beaten up when he protested
The woman said in her complaint that on the night of 23 November, her brother-in-law found her alone in the room and tried to misbehave with her. When she protested and raised an alarm, her mother-in-law came and applied pressure, saying, “This happens in homes.”
According to the victim, when her husband returned from America a few days later and narrated the entire incident, instead of listening to the truth, he brutally beat her. She was seriously injured in this attack.
Medical documents handed over, demand for investigation
The victim has also handed over her husband’s medical history and medicine prescriptions to the police in support of her point. He has told the police that these documents can be examined by any specialist doctor, so that the truth can come out.
Agra police filed a case
According to ACP Lohamandi Gaurav Kumar, on the basis of the woman’s complaint, a case has been registered against her husband, mother-in-law, father-in-law and brother-in-law under serious sections like cheating, harassment and attempt to rape. Police say that the matter is being thoroughly investigated and all allegations will be investigated impartially.
