According to the Indian Meteorological Department, due to the activation of western disturbance, there may be rain and snowfall in the hilly areas, while there is a possibility of light rain in the plains. Due to this change, day and night temperatures may drop, which will increase the cold. Its effect will be visible in Delhi-NCR also and rain may provide some relief from pollution. The process of formation of new systems has started in both the Arabian Sea and the Bay of Bengal. Due to this, there is a possibility of strong winds and rain in the coastal areas in the coming days.

According to IMD, Western Disturbance may become active in North-West India on 4 and 5 November 2025. Due to its effect, there is a possibility of rain and snowfall in the hilly areas, while some plain states may receive light rain. The Meteorological Department said that there may be light rain with thunder in Western Rajasthan. At the same time, on November 4, there is a possibility of rain or snowfall along with lightning in Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand.

There will be heavy rain in these states

Strong winds at a speed of 30 to 40 kilometers per hour along with thunderstorms may occur in Andaman and Nicobar Islands till November 5. At the same time, there is a possibility of thunderstorm and lightning in Gujarat, Marathwada, Konkan, Goa and Central Maharashtra between November 5 and 7. Apart from this, there are chances of thunderstorm and lightning in Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura on November 3.
