But the process of rain is still going on in some states of the country. The Meteorological Department has issued rain alert for West Bengal, Gujarat, Kerala and Maharashtra on 26 September. West Bengal received heavy rains at the time of Durga Puja. Odisha, Telangana, Chhattisgarh and Eastern Madhya Pradesh are also expected to rains heavy rains till 30 September. At the same time, very heavy rainfall is expected from 26 to 30 September in Central Maharashtra, Konkan and Goa.

There is no possibility of rain in any district on 26 September in Uttar Pradesh. Rain alert in West Bengal
The people of West Bengal need to be vigilant the next days. IMD has reported that light to moderate rain may occur in the southern parts of the state for the next seven days. The possibility of rain during Durga Puja has increased due to the low pressure area in the Bay of Bengal. Especially on September 27, there is a possibility of heavy rains in South 24 Parganas and Jhadgram. The Meteorological Department has also warned fishermen not to go to the sea near the West Bengal-Odisha coast by Sunday, as the sea condition may be dangerous.
