Case related to illegal lab in California
Police have confirmed that the Las Vegas home is registered in the name of Jia Bei Zhu, a Chinese national. Zhu’s name has already been linked to an illegal biological lab that came to light in 2023 in Reedley city of California. Zhu has been in federal custody since that case and is scheduled to stand trial in April. Thousands of biological samples were kept in a California lab, on which names like HIV, Malaria, TB, COVID-19 and Ebola were written.
