Iga Swiatek wins maiden Wimbledon title with double bagel over Amanda Anisimova

New Delhi: Iga Swiatek clinched her maiden Wimbledon title in a one-sided final, defeating Amanda Anisimova 6-0, 6-0 on Centre Court. The match lasted less than 40 minutes, as Swiatek completely dominated against the American.

This is her sixth Grand Slam title and her first on grass, making her a champion on all three major surfaces. It was also the first time in her career that she had reached the Wimbledon final. Swiatek is the second woman after Steffi Graf to win a grand slam final 6-0, 6-0 since 1998.
