Train Cancelled News: Millions of people travel by train every day across the country, and with the onset of winter, their biggest problem resurfaces. Dense fog has begun to descend on many parts of North Bihar and North India. From night to morning, the tracks are so foggy that trains are running hours late. In light of this, the Railways have taken a major decision. A total of 24 trains running in and around Patna, Prayagraj, Howrah, Amritsar, Kamakhya, Kolkata, Ajmer, Ambala, and surrounding areas have been canceled for three months. This ban will be in effect from December 1st to February 28th. This will directly impact the travel plans of millions of passengers.

These trains are cancelled for the next few months.

The country’s railway network is so vast that managing train safety during fog becomes a complex task. As visibility drops in winter, signals are difficult to see clearly, and neither is the track ahead. This increases the risk of accidents. To avoid this danger, several long-route trains have been temporarily halted. The Railways believes this step will reduce congestion on the network and allow other trains to operate in a more controlled and safe manner.
