Recently, a long meeting took place at the White House between former US President Donald Trump and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky. The purpose of this meeting was to take steps towards ending the Ukraine-Russia war soon. According to reports, Trump told Zelensky in clear words – “If you do not compromise… then Russia will destroy you.” Before this meeting. There was also a long telephonic conversation between Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin, in which it was decided that both the leaders would soon meet in Budapest. Analysts believe that this entire diplomatic stir is indicating that the Russia-Ukraine war may now be moving towards an end. Trump’s priority now seems to be towards ending this war.
