The moment the farmers were eagerly waiting for. That moment has finally come. The government has announced the date of releasing the 21st installment of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi. Yes, the next installment of Rs 2000 of Kisan Samman Nidhi will be sent to the account of eligible farmers on 19th November. But do you know that the installment can also be stopped? If you make a mistake in getting e-KYC done, then understand that money will not come into your account. In this news, we are going to tell you about the process of getting e-KYC done, by following which you can complete this work sitting at home.

The benefit of this scheme is being given to those farmers whose land details are registered on PM Kisan Portal, whose bank accounts are linked to Aadhar Card (UID Card) and who have completed their e-KYC. Aadhaar is an important document to establish the identity of the beneficiaries in PM Kisan Yojana. Farmers can do this by completing their e-KYC using any of the following options.

  • OTP-based e-KYC
  • Biometric-based e-KYC
  • Face-Authentication Based e-KYC

Special features of PM Kisan Portal

Farmers can visit pmkisan.gov.in portal. In the “Kisan Corner” section, people taking advantage of PM Kisan Yojana can easily check their information with the new “Know Your Status” feature. This portal provides quick and easy online registration for farmers. For convenience, farmers can also register at the nearest Common Service Center (CSC). Apart from this, farmers can open Aadhaar linked bank account sitting at home through India Post Payments Bank (IPPB).

Do e-KYC through face authentication?

Farmers can do e-KYC from their mobile phones only. This is the newest and easiest way to do e-KYC. For this you will have to follow some conditions.

  • Download PM-Kisan Mobile App and Aadhaar Face RD App from Google Play Store.
  • Open the app and login with your PM Kisan mobile number.
  • Go to the beneficiary status page.
  • If e-KYC status shows “No”, click on e-KYC, enter your Aadhaar number and allow facial recognition.
  • E-KYC will be completed if the face is scanned correctly.

Rest keep in mind that e-KYC information done through any method will be visible in the beneficiary status after 24 hours. Farmers can also check their status from the KYC section of PM Kisan Portal and Kisan-e-Mitra (PM Kisan).
