BJP mp nishikant dubey warns: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP Nishikant Dubey created a stir in political circles by making a big statement on 18 July 2025. He said that if the 2029 Lok Sabha election is fought without Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the BJP would be reduced to just 150 seats.
The statement came in response to the statement of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief Mohan Bhagwat, in which he said that after the age of 75, leaders should retire and give a chance to the youth.

If he would not be our leader in 2029, the BJP will not win 150 seats. ‘The BJP won 240 seats in the Lok Sabha elections, and Dubey’s statement underlines Modi’s importance for the party.
’75 years’ rule is not applicable to Modi’
The recent statement of RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat, in which he spoke of retirement at the age of 75, was introduced by the opposition by linking it to Modi. Dubey replied that this rule does not apply to Modi. He cited former PM Morarji Desai, who became Prime Minister at the age of 82. Dubey said, “As long as Modi is healthy to fulfill the dream of developed India by 2047, he will have to lead.”
