Zelensky-Trump Peace Talks: Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy spoke on phone with US President Donald Trump on Saturday. The two leaders discussed Russia’s recent attacks, damage to Ukraine’s energy resources and peace efforts. Zelensky posted on X that the conversation was very positive. He congratulated Trump for brokering a peace deal in Gaza and said that if war can be stopped in one area, it is possible in others too.

America-Ukraine relations warm up
Relations between the two leaders turned cold in February when they had a heated argument during a televised meeting at the White House. However, now Trump has praised Zelensky and called him a brave man and said that the fight Ukraine is fighting is praiseworthy. The two leaders had earlier met in New York during the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA). Where there was discussion on increasing pressure on Russia and ending the war.
